Azalea roots L

The product is a 100% natural azalea root. It is the perfect decoration for any aquarium, ideal for creating a natural hiding place for fish or a unique aquascape.

Azalea roots do not sink immediately and need to be attached to a heavy object for a few days until they become sufficiently soaked in the aquarium water. They do not release harmful substances into the water. Unlike other roots, such as mangrove and mopani wood, this root releases a significantly smaller amount of tannins.

A white biofilm may form on the surface of the root. It is completely harmless and may be eaten by some fish, shrimp, or snails in the aquarium.

Suitable for freshwater, tropical and marine aquariums.
