Buenos Aires Tetra (Hyphessobrycon anisitsi)

Buenos Aires Tetra (Hyphessobrycon anisitsi) is an active, hardy and relatively large schooling fish, suitable for a spacious community aquarium. It reaches approximately 6-7 cm. It is distinguished by its silvery body, reddish fins and dark marking at the base of the tail. It does best in a group of at least 8-10 individuals, but may nibble on delicate plants and is not the best choice for slow-moving, long-finned tank mates.
