SeaChem Plant Pack Fundamentals 3x100 ml

Plant Pack Fundamentals is an excellent set for beginner aquarists who grow aquatic plants. It contains 100 ml bottles of Flourish, Flourish Iron, and Flourish Excel.

Flourish is a growth stimulant for the stems and leaves of aquarium plants. It contains a broad spectrum of essential trace elements, vitamins, and amino acids. It is rich in iron in the form of gluconate, manganese, calcium, magnesium, potassium, inositol, choline B12, biotin, and other components that have been found to be beneficial to aquatic plants.

Flourish Iron is a complementary product to Flourish and Flourish Tabs. It is a complexed ferrous iron product containing 10,000 mg/L of iron and is ideal for maintaining iron levels in a naturally planted freshwater aquarium. Plants can utilize both ferric and ferrous iron, but they prefer ferrous iron when it is available.

Flourish Excel is an easy source of readily available organic carbon. All plants require a source of carbon. This is typically obtained from CO₂, but it can also be acquired through relatively simple organic compounds (such as photosynthetic intermediates). Since both processes occur simultaneously, the use of Flourish Excel provides significant benefits when used alone or in combination with CO₂ injection.
