African Clawed Frog (Xenopus laevis)

African Clawed Frog (Xenopus laevis) is a fully aquatic amphibian, best suited to a species-only or carefully planned aquarium. It reaches approximately 10-13 cm and spends almost its entire life in water. It requires a securely covered aquarium with calm water, good filtration and plenty of hiding places. It should not be kept with small fish, as they may be regarded as prey.
