African Dwarf Frog (Hymenochirus boettgeri)

African Dwarf Frog (Hymenochirus boettgeri) is a small, fully aquatic amphibian, well suited to a peaceful freshwater aquarium. It reaches approximately 3-4 cm and does best in an aquarium with shallow areas, hiding places and a secure lid. It should only be kept with peaceful, calm fish that will not harass it or outcompete it for food. Its diet consists mainly of small animal-based foods, including frozen or live foods.
