Betta (Betta splendens)

Betta (Betta splendens) is a beautiful, distinctive and relatively easy-to-keep labyrinth fish, suitable for keeping alone or in a carefully selected community aquarium. It reaches approximately 5-7 cm, with males typically displaying brighter colors and longer, more elaborate fins. It does best in a well-established aquarium with calm water, plants and hiding places, without aggressive or fin-nipping tank mates.
