Blue Acara (Andinoacara pulcher)

Blue Acara (Andinoacara pulcher) is a beautiful and relatively peaceful South American cichlid, distinguished by its metallic blue iridescence, robust body shape and graceful behaviour. It reaches approximately 15-20 cm and may grow slightly larger under excellent conditions. It does best in a spacious aquarium with hiding places, driftwood, rocks and peaceful tank mates of a similar size.
