Bulgarian Green Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)

Bulgarian Green Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) is a beautiful and elegant selectively bred variety of angelfish, distinguished by its delicate greenish-silver coloration, tall body and long, flowing fins. It reaches approximately 12-15 cm in length, but due to its body height and extended fins, it requires a tall and spacious aquarium. It does best in a well-established planted aquarium with calm water and peaceful tank mates that are neither too small nor prone to fin-nipping.
