The Congo Tetra (Phenacogrammus interruptus) is a peaceful, active and exceptionally beautiful schooling fish for a spacious community or planted aquarium. It grows to about 7–9 cm and displays iridescent colours, graceful movement and long flowing fins in males. Keep at least 6–8 fish with plants, subdued lighting and ample open swimming space.
