Corydoras elegans

Corydoras elegans is a peaceful and active bottom-dwelling catfish with an attractive pattern and a more slender body compared with some other Corydoras species. It reaches approximately 5-6 cm and does best in a group of at least 6 individuals. It is well suited to a peaceful community aquarium with fine sand or a soft substrate, good filtration, plants and hiding places. It enjoys foraging along the bottom, but should also be provided with quality sinking food for bottom-dwelling fish.
