Dwarf Gourami (Trichogaster lalius)

Dwarf Gourami (Trichogaster lalius) is a beautiful, peaceful and relatively calm labyrinth fish, well suited to an established community or planted aquarium. It reaches approximately 5-7 cm and is distinguished by the males’ vibrant coloration, the females’ more subtle colors, and its generally peaceful behaviour. It does best in an aquarium with calm water, plenty of plants and hiding places, and peaceful tank mates, avoiding aggressive, very fast-moving or fin-nipping fish.
