Electric Yellow Cichlid (Labidochromis caeruleus)

Electric Yellow Cichlid (Labidochromis caeruleus) is a beautiful, active and relatively peaceful African cichlid from Lake Malawi, most commonly recognized by its bright yellow coloration and contrasting dark edging on the fins. It reaches approximately 10-12 cm and does best in a well-established aquarium with rocks, hiding places, a sandy substrate and hard, stable water. It is suitable for keeping with other Lake Malawi cichlids of a similar size, but is not a good choice for a peaceful community aquarium with small or slow-moving fish.
