Festivum Cichlid (Mesonauta festivus)

Festivum Cichlid (Mesonauta festivus) is a beautiful, peaceful and elegant South American cichlid, distinguished by its laterally compressed body, elongated fins and characteristic dark diagonal stripe across the body. It reaches approximately 12–15 cm and does best in a well-established aquarium with plants, driftwood, hiding places and peaceful tank mates. It is suitable for a community aquarium with peaceful fish of a similar size, but is not a good choice for keeping with very small species.
