Gyrinocheilus aymonieri

Gyrinocheilus aymonieri is an Asian freshwater fish with a sucker-like mouth used to hold onto hard surfaces in flowing water. It reaches about 28 cm. Juveniles actively graze algae and biofilm, while adults can become territorial. Clean, well-oxygenated water, shelters and adequate space are important.
