Flow Heater BT is a flow-through heater that can be controlled via a mobile device. Special technology ensures smooth heating and precise temperature setting. It is mounted outside the aquarium, does not take up space, and increases the freedom of aquarium arrangement.
Thanks to this special technology, you can program the heater to the appropriate power in 50-watt increments. This allows you to provide comfort for animals with different heating needs using a single device. You can set the temperature with an accuracy of half a degree Celsius in the range from 20°C to 33°C.
Start-up and control
Turn your phone or tablet into a mobile command center for your aquarium equipment! You can connect the Flow Heater BT via Bluetooth and control it using the dedicated AQUAEL BT app. Simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play. The app itself is intuitive and very easy to use.
The heater housing has LEDs that indicate the operating status of the device. White indicates POWER, and green indicates STATUS. After pairing your Flow Heater BT with your mobile device, the blue BLUETOOTH LED will light up. The heater is then ready for operation. A pulsing green STATUS LED indicates that the heater is warming the water to the set temperature. To restart the device, press and hold the button on the housing while simultaneously turning on the heater before plugging it in. This will reset the heater to its factory settings.
The Aquael BT app offers a wide range of control options.
In constant mode, you can set a specific temperature and the maximum power of the heater. You can also check the current temperature and historical readings on your phone.
The Day & Night mode offers even more possibilities. In the app, you can freely set the daytime and nighttime temperatures, as well as the sunrise and sunset times and the nighttime temperature level. Changes are smooth, without stressful jumps. You can program the mode change time within a maximum of 3 hours.
The device can be set to Celsius or Fahrenheit. You can also choose how you want to be notified when the set temperature is exceeded (heating alarm). In the app, you can also set an individual PIN code to protect your settings.
Wide power range
One heater for every aquarium – this is how the Flow Heater BT can be described in short. The precise controller adjusts the water heating exactly to the level you need. The power can be changed with a single click in 50 W increments. The power range is very wide – from 50 to 500 W.
Thermometer function and measurement history
The app works as a mobile thermometer. The main display shows the current temperature in the aquarium. Readings are accurate to one decimal place. You will immediately see any unwanted changes on your phone.
In addition, you can track the history of heating changes. The “history” tab provides an overview of the heater’s operation. You can observe heating changes up to 7 days back.
Intelligent power selection
The AquaEL heater is equipped with a Smart Heating System. This is a power control technology. Thanks to this system, the heating power automatically adjusts to maintain the desired temperature in the aquarium. This is ensured by a microprocessor located inside the device. This mechanism guarantees smooth operation of the heater.
Precise temperature
Thanks to appropriate systems, the device consumes only the amount of energy necessary to properly heat the aquarium water.
On your smartphone, you can check not only the programmed temperature but also the current water temperature. Thus, the heater can also be used as a thermometer that you can carry with you at any time.
The Flow Heater BT operates with an accuracy of ±0.1°C. You can conveniently adjust the temperature on your phone screen with a single touch. A special system will notify you of any unwanted changes. Electronic sensors automatically switch off the device in the absence of water flow.
Freedom of arrangement
The Flow Heater BT is mounted outside the aquarium, on the outlet hose of the canister filter. This means the heater does not take up space inside, giving you greater freedom in arranging your aquarium. This is particularly useful in natural aquariums, where creators want to mimic the natural aquatic environment as closely as possible.
The heater can be used in both freshwater and marine aquariums. It does not need to be submerged in water, so there is no need to worry about possible corrosive effects of saltwater.
Versatile use thanks to heater power settings in the app
The heater will satisfy enthusiasts of both small and large aquariums. Depending on the capacity and needs of your aquarium, you can select the specific temperature to which the water will be heated. This solution allows the same heater to be used equally well for smaller and larger aquariums. Thanks to its versatility, the Flow Heater BT is perfect for aquariums with a capacity of 60 to 1000 liters.
The heater can be mounted on hoses with diameters of 16/22 mm or 19/25 mm. This is possible thanks to interchangeable connectors that are perfectly matched to the hose size.
Safety and convenience
The Flow Heater BT perfectly protects the aquarium from overheating. This is ensured by as many as 5 electronic temperature sensors. When they detect that water has stopped flowing through the heater, the device automatically switches off.
The heaters are made of high-quality materials. This guarantees the highest quality and precision. Furthermore, each device is tested and calibrated in the Aquael laboratory.
Convenient heater installation
If desired, you can attach the heater housing in two ways:

Use strong suction cups to attach the heater to the outer surface of the aquarium glass.

After removing the suction cups, you can secure the device with screws (screws are not included in the set).
