Leopard Bush Fish (Ctenopoma acutirostre)

Leopard Bush Fish (Ctenopoma acutirostre) is an interesting, generally peaceful but predatory labyrinth fish, suitable for a well-established aquarium with hiding places, plants and carefully selected tank mates. It reaches approximately 12-15 cm and is distinguished by its spotted leopard-like pattern, elongated body and secretive, ambush-predator behaviour. It should not be kept with very small fish such as neon tetras, small tetras or guppies, as they may be regarded as prey.
