Paradise Fish (Macropodus opercularis) is a beautiful, hardy and distinctive labyrinth fish, suitable for a well-established aquarium with plants, hiding places and carefully selected tank mates. It reaches approximately 8-10 cm, with males typically growing larger, displaying brighter coloration and developing longer fins. The species is active and fascinating to observe, but can be territorial, making it less suitable for very small, slow-moving or long-finned fish.
