Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara sp.)

Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara sp.) is a beautiful, colorful and relatively peaceful African cichlid from Lake Malawi, known for its vibrant coloration, particularly in males. It reaches approximately 10-15 cm and does best in a well-established aquarium with rocks, hiding places, a sandy substrate and stable, harder water. It can be kept with other similarly sized Lake Malawi cichlids that are not overly aggressive, while very small or highly aggressive tank mates should be avoided.
