Penguin Tetra (Thayeria boehlkei)

The Penguin Tetra (Thayeria boehlkei) is a peaceful, active schooling fish for a mature community or planted aquarium. It grows to about 5-6 cm and has a silver body with a bold black stripe that continues into the lower tail, resembling a hockey stick. Keep at least 8–10 fish in stable water with plenty of open swimming space.
