Pygmy Corydoras (Corydoras pygmaeus)

Pygmy Corydoras (Corydoras pygmaeus) is a very small, peaceful and active catfish, well suited to a calm community or nano aquarium. It reaches approximately 2-3 cm and does best in a group of at least 8-10 individuals. Unlike larger Corydoras species, it often swims in the middle levels of the aquarium as well as near the bottom. It does best in an aquarium with fine sand or a soft substrate, good filtration, plants and small, peaceful tank mates.
