SeaChem AMGuard

Seachem AmGuard safely, quickly, and effectively removes free, toxic ammonia from the aquarium. It is ideal for use during the startup cycle or in unexpected emergency situations. The product reacts with free ammonia within minutes and does not alter the pH level.

Ammonia exists in two forms: free (toxic) and ionized (less harmful). Most standard treatments measure total ammonia and treat all of it as toxic free ammonia, often raising the pH to 12–14. At such high pH levels, no product can effectively remove ammonia, potentially misleading users into thinking the problem is resolved.

For accurate monitoring, use Seachem Ammonia Alert or Seachem MultiTest to track free ammonia levels directly.
AmGuard also removes chlorine and chloramine.

Dosage: Use 1 capful (5 ml) for every 200 liters of water daily.
Do not use the product if the water temperature exceeds 30°C.
