Hygrophila polysperma from Southeast Asia is one of the hardiest aquarium plants available. The stems grow to 20–40 cm in height and 4–8 cm in width.

It is especially suitable for beginners because it grows well under almost all conditions. It usually grows so quickly that it is important to prevent it from overcrowding other plants. The shoots should be trimmed regularly. Leaves floating on the surface can form small new plants. Hygrophila polysperma varies greatly in leaf shape and color, depending to some extent on the amount of light provided.

Planting instructions:
Remove the plant from the pot. Carefully clean the roots from the wool. Plant it in substrate with a minimum depth of 3 cm.
