Manacapuru Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare Manacapuru)

Manacapuru Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare “Manacapuru”) is a beautiful and elegant form of angelfish, distinguished by its tall body, long fins and characteristic reddish-orange coloration along the upper back. It reaches approximately 12–15 cm in length, but due to its body height and extended fins, it requires a tall and spacious aquarium. It does best in a well-established aquarium with plants, driftwood, calm water and peaceful tank mates that are neither too small nor prone to fin-nipping.
