Aqua Vitro Vibrance

Aqua Vitro Vibrance is a highly concentrated source of potassium iodide for reef aquariums, designed to restore and maintain iodide levels typical of natural seawater. Iodide is a key element for the health and formation of soft tissue in invertebrates. It has also been proven that this element is essential for the development of pigments in corals and anemones.

When added to the aquarium, iodide becomes unstable and converts into elemental iodine (which is biocidal) and iodate (which is useless for corals, toxic at high levels, and cannot be measured). Iodide is the only form of iodine that corals can absorb. Due to this instability, iodide must be stabilized for use in the aquarium.

The formula provides a safe source of iodide that will not convert to toxic free iodine under reef conditions.

Directions for use:

Use 1 mL for every 100 liters of aquarium water daily to raise the iodide level by 0.10 mg/L. If necessary, adjust the amount so that the iodide level reads between 0.06 – 0.08 mg/L, six to twelve hours after the last dose. Check the iodide level once a week.
