For a proper start and faster establishment of a stable biological environment, it is necessary to use starter bacteria and a dechlorinator for tap water. The starter bacteria support the development of beneficial bacteria in the filter and substrate, while the dechlorinator neutralizes chlorine and heavy metals in the water, making it safe for fish and plants.
