SeaChem Axolotl Conditioner 250 ml

Seachem Axolotl Conditioner is a highly concentrated aquarium conditioner that makes tap water safe for axolotls by removing chlorine and chloramine, as well as detoxifying ammonia. It converts ammonia—which is highly toxic to axolotls—into a safe, non-toxic form that is easily removed by the aquarium's biofilter.

Axolotl Conditioner also neutralizes nitrite and nitrate, supporting the biofilter's function and making it especially effective during aquarium cycling, when ammonia and nitrite levels can become dangerously high. Additionally, the product detoxifies heavy metals that may be present in tap water at typical concentration levels.

Axolotl Conditioner is non-acidic and does not affect pH. For safe and effective pH management, use Seachem Axolotl Buffer.

Since axolotls produce high levels of ammonia, it is very important to prepare the aquarium with beneficial bacteria, such as Seachem Stability, to establish and maintain effective biological filtration.

Directions for Use:

Use at aquarium start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.

Dosage: 1 capful (5 mL) for every 160 liters (40 US gallons) of aquarium water.

For smaller volumes: each thread of the cap measures approximately 1 mL.
