SeaChem Flourite Dark™ 0.5-3mm

Seachem Flourite Dark™ is a specially sized clay substrate designed for planted aquariums. It is most effective when used alone as the primary substrate, but it can also be mixed with other substrates. The use of laterite is not necessary, it is not chemically treated, and will not affect the pH of the water in any way. However, it can be rinsed before use to remove any potential dust. To reduce cloudiness in the aquarium, pour the water slowly and use a separate container to diffuse the added stream. Initial slight darkening is normal and will clear up quickly (2-12 hours). To shorten the clearing time, use Seachem Clarity™ in combination with a mechanical filter (such as filter floss). Calculation: for a bottom size of 40 x 40 cm with a substrate thickness of 5 cm, one package will be required.
