Substrate SeaChem Flourite Red 0.5-3mm 3.5 kg

SeaChem Flourite Red™ is a specially sized clay substrate designed for planted aquariums. It is most effective when used alone as the primary substrate, but it can also be mixed with other substrates. The use of laterite is not necessary. The substrate is not chemically treated and will not affect the pH of the aquarium water in any way. However, it is recommended to rinse it before use to remove any dust. Pour the water slowly and use an additional container to break the water flow. Initial slight cloudiness is normal and will clear up quickly (2-12 hours). To reduce clearing time, use SeaChem Clarity in combination with a mechanical filter (such as filter floss). Calculation: For a 40 x 40 cm bottom with a substrate thickness of 5 cm, one package will be required.
